St Andrews Sarcophagus

St Andrews Sarcophagus
St Andrews Cathedral Museum is home to the world famous St Andrews Sarcophagus. This is one of the finest examples of early medieval sculpture in Europe. Dating to the late eighth century A.D, it is likely to be a memorial to Oengus, son of Fergus who died in 761.
