This was a recent short video clip taken from the recently finished 3rd bedroom in Castaway Holiday Cottage looking out over the Firth of Forth. Its great to wake up in the morning and hear the waves lapping outside the window or lie in bed and watch the boats and ships go by.

Holiday Cottage Fife Village Architecture
Holiday Cottage Fife Village Architecture
The villages of Fife have a fine selection of architectural styles which add character and harmony to the area. Such features such as the Fife stonework, crow stepped gables and red pan tiles are unique to this area.
A good read for those interested in the buildings of the Fife area is the The Buildings of Scotland: Fife by John Gifford
This illustrated guidebook to Fife features all of the noteworthy buildings and places, famous or unknown, from pre-history to present day. It is intended for visitors, specialists who wish to see buidings not usually accessible and for residents with an interest in their region.
