St Andrews Museum Event

St Andrews Museum World War Event

World War Two is often called The People's War. Almost the entire civilian population was mobilised for the war effort and the term Home Front was coined to encourage people to pull together. Using objects, images and oral history extracts, this exhibition examines how the war changed almost every aspect of daily life. Find out about rationing, the blackout, air raids, civil defence units, how the war affected women and children and much more.

Venue

St Andrews Museum, Kinburn Park, St Andrews

Dates
